The Flat Bed CNC Lathe – LD 55 is a heavy-duty CNC turning machine designed for large-scale and precision machining of oversized components. With a swing-over-bed capacity of approximately 1,395 mm (55″) and swing-over-cross-slide of around 980 mm (38.6″), it provides the work envelope and rigidity needed for heavy shafts, rollers, housings, and structural parts used in energy, marine, heavy equipment, and industrial fabrication.

Built on a solid flat-bed box-way structure with wide cross slide and carriage, the LD 55 delivers stable and accurate cutting performance across long axis travel ranges. Standard features include FANUC control and servo motors, a hydraulic turret, automatic lubrication and cooling systems, and a hydraulic tailstock with rotating quill, ensuring reliable operation in both roughing and precision turning applications. Optional enhancements such as larger spindle bore sizes, spindle oil chillers, C-axis indexing, and various tooling attachments further extend its versatility for complex machining tasks.
