The Flat Bed CNC Lathe – LC 50 is designed for extreme heavy-duty turning of very large and long workpieces, featuring a swing-over-bed capacity of approximately 1,265 mm (50″) and a center height around 635 mm (25″) as referenced by CNC-TAKANG specifications. Its robust flat-bed box-way structure, high-torque spindle capability and generous bed length options make it ideally suited for industries such as shipbuilding, energy equipment, large forgings, and infrastructure components.

Built for both strength and flexibility, the LC 50 supports extended distance-between-centers (e.g., 2,200 mm, 3,200 mm or more) and comes with optional accessories like heavy tailstocks, steady/follow rests and chip conveyor systems. 1. High Torque Gearbox
1:133 gear ratio (M41) with full horsepower at 11 rpm, M code 4 step auto gear shifting, hardened and precision ground gears.
2. Large Bore, Rigid Spindle
Three point bearing support with 6″/9″/12″/14.5″ bores; optional twin chuck configuration, with manual 4 jaw/3 jaw/pneumatic chucks at front and rear.
3. Ultra Rigid Bed & Guideways
One piece casting with triple V guideways plus an auxiliary guide; bed slideway width 710 mm (incl. auxiliary); individual and final dynamic balancing of rotating parts.
4. Long Travel Precision Z Axis
REDEX preloaded pinion + GUDEL precision rack with linear scale (8–12 m); plus Z axis 1:4 gear box torque boost and extra ball screw supports for long strokes.
5. High Accuracy Rotating Quill Tailstock
A2 nose rotating quill with ≤0.005 mm runout, collision/backward protection, and optional Ø250 / Ø350 mm quill sizes for higher rigidity.
